Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer for a full-time mobile role covering Yeovil and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III and have experience in gas repairs and servicing. This position offers a salary range of £40k – £42k annually along with benefits including 28 days' holiday and access to health and well-being packages.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience of maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and safe working practices.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Carry out all gas repairs, servicing, and boiler installations for residential properties.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork and reports for all work.
  • Ensure all statutory and mandatory tasks are completed within required timescales.
  • Ensure all certification is correctly completed and remedial works clearly identified.
  • Carry out reactive and emergency tasks as required.
  • Use handheld technology effectively to log and manage work.

Location & Working Hours

Yeovil – full time; mobile, covering Yeovil and surrounding areas.

Salary

£40k – £42k annual base.

Responsibilities
