Gardener

Location: Harlow

Pay Rate: £14.19 per hour

Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-3:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am-1:15pm

Contract: 12-week temporary role, with potential to move to a fixed-term contract for the right candidate

What You’ll Do

• Prepare ground for planting and seeding using mechanical and hand tools
• Plant shrubs, hedging, and trees to best practice standards
• Carry out aftercare to ensure successful establishment of new landscaping
• Contribute to bulb areas, perennials, and specialist horticultural features
• Maintain shrubs and hedges through pruning and cutting back
• Clear leaves, litter, and arisings from horticultural operations
• Control weeds in beds and hard surfaces using mechanical and chemical methods
• Cut grass occasionally and carry out cultural maintenance
• Form and maintain neat grass edges where appropriate
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely
• Ensure health and safety compliance
