A community-focused organization in Chichester is seeking a Funeral Plan Arranger to provide expert guidance on funeral plans. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with clients. You will manage your diary and client interactions while ensuring compliance with regulations. This position offers competitive pay and benefits including career development opportunities and discounts on Co-op products.
Funeral Plan Arranger. £23,369 per annum (£13.01 per hour) plus benefits. Full time 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Mobile role covering Chichester, Worthing and the surrounding West Sussex area. You'll need a full UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle for this job. At Co-op Funeralcare, we take pride in helping families say the perfect goodbye to loved ones.
As a Funeral Plan Arranger, you'll be the first point of contact for funeral plans, delivering outstanding client experience and helping clients and colleagues with any funeral plan enquiries and sales. In this role no two days will look the same: you'll manage your own calendar to meet clients across your region, follow up on enquiries and build relationships in your local community.
At Co-op, we're owned by our members and committed to diversity and inclusion. We welcome applications from everyone and will provide reasonable adjustments in recruitment where needed. We are part of the Disability Confident scheme and will offer an interview to disabled candidates who meet the minimum criteria for a job.
If you are successful, we will perform pre-employment screening including DBS and adverse media checks, an occupational health questionnaire, and checks of your social media activity. In this role you will work under FCA regulation and will be trained to become a certified colleague. Pre-employment checks will include FCA and financial integrity checks to identify financial sanctions; your credit score will not be checked. Any offer will be conditional upon the completion of these checks.
To make sure you're eligible to advise clients on pre-need funeral plans as a certified colleague, participation in these checks is required.
