Responsibilities

• As a Functional Skills Tutor, deliver dynamic and interactive lessons in functional skills subjects such as English and mathematics.
• Tailor teaching approaches to accommodate the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
• Assess individual learner strengths and areas for improvement to develop personalised learning plans to facilitate progress.
• Inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment to help them achieve their goals.
• Contribute to creating an effective and enriching educational experience for all involved.

Functional Skills Tutor Requirements

• Teaching Qualifications - minimum Level 3 Education & Training or above and hold a Level 2/GCSE qualification in English and Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Functional skills in English and Mathematics.
• Excellent time management
