Overview

Vanda’s Kitchen have a café/store in St Paul’s London. Do you have a passion for delivering a high-quality customer-focused service? This role will give you the opportunity to make a real impact on our customer’s journey by being a main point of contact and delivering a high standard of customer service. At the core of our values is our commitment to deliver exceptional customer service and experience. Do you have real barista experience, confidence with pastry preparation and gluten-free separation, including changing gloves, etc.

Responsibilities
  • To greet customers with a nice manner as they enter the shop.
  • To act as the point of contact between the customer and the kitchen.
  • To be able to prepare coffees and basic kitchen jobs to complete taken orders.
  • To demonstrate an understanding of the menu and the options available to the customer.
  • To report any issues to the head chef immediately.
  • To be confident in speaking to the public.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience of a customer service role, face to face.
  • Experience of handling and resolving customer issues, with a first-time-right attitude.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to navigate through change.
  • Experience in a gluten-free kitchen/shop is advantageous.
