Job summary

A global organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant fluent in French to join their team in London on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing financial reports, preparing annual financial statements, and assisting with audits under French GAAP. The ideal candidate has a solid background in financial reporting and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Fluent in French, with experience in financial reporting under French GAAP.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ability to assist in internal/external audits.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial/management accounts under French GAAP.
• Prepare financial statements and reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts.
• Assist Financial Controller on projects and cooperate in intercompany reconciliations.

Skills

Fluent French Speaker

Knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS

Strong Communication skills

Able to work independently and in a team

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to handle multiple priorities

Education

Qualified Accountant / Equivalent accountancy qualification
