Overview

Freight Manager role. The position is suitable for someone who can step up into freight manager responsibilities. It is a fast-growing international business backed by a multinational PLC; share price has risen in the past five years. The role is based in and commutable to Royal Wootton Bassett / Swindon area and may suit a logistics or shipping professional who can work with international aerospace, defence, motorsport and space customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3rd party logistics providers to ensure compliant and smooth transport of goods for international shipments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers; negotiate terms with logistics providers.
• Coordinate and oversee international shipments, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate across the business in a fast-growth, agile environment; support logistics operations for aerospace, defence, motorsport and space customers.

Qualifications / Skills

• Ambitious with the ability to handle the complexities of international shipping and compliance.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
