Overview

Freight Coordinator required for a Sunday Times top 250, family owned Logistics company who have recently celebrated their 150th year. This role is based in Glasgow.

A British based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing. The business remains family owned and was founded in 1870 with 18 branches across the U.K. As one of the largest independent freight forwarding companies in the UK we manage freight from around the world, by road and rail, through the air and across the oceans.

The Role

This varied role involves working closely with our clients to manage all aspects of their shipments. This ranges from issuing quotes, arranging shipments, managing the customs clearance process and everything else through to ensuring the client receives their shipments on time. You will build close working relationships with clients, overseas partners as well as internal teams so good communication skills are key in this role. Continuous support and training will be given as we aim to help you develop your skills and knowledge to allow you to grow your career.
