Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within fire protection or FRA remediation projects.
• Strong knowledge of fire regulations and passive fire measures.
• Carpentry background or relevant trade experience.
• Experience within the social housing sector (occupied properties preferred).
• Confident managing both direct labour and subcontractors.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate direct labour and subcontractor teams on multiple active sites.
• Oversee fire door installations, fire stopping, compartmentation, and containment works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with current fire safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct quality checks, RAMS reviews, and toolbox talks.
• Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Complete site reports and documentation using company systems.

About the Role

We’re working with a leading Passive Fire Protection contractor delivering FRA remediation works across social housing schemes in London and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a carpentry background and strong knowledge of fire regulations, looking to progress their career within a specialist and growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate direct labour and subcontractor teams on multiple active sites
• Oversee fire door installations, fire stopping, compartmentation, and containment works
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with current fire safety regulations and company standards
• Conduct quality checks, RAMS reviews, and toolbox talks
• Liaise with clients, residents, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Complete site reports and documentation using company systems (must be IT savvy)

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within fire protection or FRA remediation projects

Strong knowledge of fire regulations and passive fire measures

Carpentry background or relevant trade experience

Experience within the social housing sector (occupied properties preferred)

Confident managing both direct labour and subcontractors

Full UK driving licence
