Overview

Working as part of the Building Safety Team, you will take responsibility for ensuring that Newlon meets its statutory landlord compliance obligations in relation to Fire Risk Assessments for all properties. You will deliver a high quality and robust compliance and responsive service, ensuring works and servicing programmes are delivered effectively, on time and required standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor reports, raise repairs and the allocation of identified Fire Risk Assessment tasks to relevant teams and specialist contractors.
  • Carry out other admin and database duties relating to building safety.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role with substantial compliance experience; ideally a member of a relevant body such as IOSH, RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE or IFSM.
  • Health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of current housing related legislation in relation to Fire/Structural Safety and Fire Risk Assessment work streams, as well as experience of managing Health and Safety with safety regulations.
