Job summary

A construction staffing firm in Camden is seeking an experienced FRA Carpenter to carry out essential fire safety works across council properties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with fire doors, a strong understanding of fire safety standards, and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities include fitting fire doors, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with British Standards. This is a full-time role with 36 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with fire doors and components.
• Strong understanding of fire safety standards and British Standards.
• Full UK driving licence (van provided).
• Ability to work independently with an innovative mindset.
• Excellent quality management and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Fitting new fire doors and repairing frames.
• Installing electrical enclosures and fire-related plasterboard.
• Carrying out fire stopping works in line with regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing administration tasks.
• Working to high-quality standards with a focus on safety.
