Job Title: FP&A Accountant
Location: Bury St Edmunds / Hybrid

About the Role

I am delighted to be partnering with an innovative organisation based in Bury St Edmunds seeking to recruit an FP&A Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial and performance reporting, budgets, and forecasts across part of the Group. You'll also provide first-line finance business partnering, ensuring insight, accuracy, and timeliness in everything you deliver.

What you'll do
  • Produce accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad‑hoc financial and non‑financial reports with insightful commentary.
  • Lead on the production of budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, working with budget holders to ensure accuracy.
  • Partner with their BI team to move standard reporting into BI solutions, improving efficiency.
  • Provide first‑line finance support to the business, balancing great service with efficiency and standardisation.
  • Support capital expenditure project justifications and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
  • Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and reporting quality.
