Job description

Contract Type: Fixed Term up to 9 months PT 21 hours

Salary: 26775 per annum pro rata (London weighted salary) or 22994 per annum pro rata (Regional salary)

Reporting Office: London Stratford or Manchester Trafford

Grade: 3

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Join our Foundation Team at L&Q

We're looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Foundation Assistant. This role is key to supporting our fuel and food voucher schemes, Personal Support Fund and Community Grants and Donations. You'll provide excellent administrative support making sure resources reach vulnerable residents and community groups efficiently.

Your impact in the role
  • Administer voucher and grant programmes liaising with colleagues, referral partners and residents directly.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage payments and voucher distribution.
  • Provide first-line support for internal and external enquiries from a range of stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver a high quality service.
What you'll bring
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Demonstration of time management techniques to effectively prioritise workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) to maintain accurate records and produce basic reports.
  • Ability to write clearly for diverse audiences with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborative working with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience providing administrative support in a busy environment (desirable).
  • A passion for making a difference and supporting programmes that deliver social impact.
