A dedicated fostering charity in South Wales is seeking a part-time Fostering Recruitment Officer. The role focuses on managing recruitment for foster carers, conducting home visits, and collaborating with teams. Ideal candidates are passionate about fostering and have strong organizational and communication skills. The position offers flexibility and a supportive benefits package, including homeworking arrangements.
Salary: £16,112 per annum (increasing to £17,903 in 18 months) + £450 per annum Homeworking Allowance
Hours: 3 days / 21 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday but can be flexible around days)
Contract: Permanent – Part Time
Location: South Wales including but not limited to Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, RCT, Bridgend, Newport, Swansea, Carmarthen

TACT is the largest dedicated fostering charity in the UK. Here in Wales, we are seeking a highly motivated, organised individual for the role of Fostering Recruitment Officer. In this role you will progress qualified leads, complete enquiry calls and initial home visits. The role will involve working closely with your line manager to deliver the local recruitment strategy, as well as working autonomously, to ensure potential foster carers have a positive experience with TACT. While not essential, we welcome applications from Welsh speakers.

The Fostering Recruitment Officer will be based within reasonable travelling distance of South Wales including Cardiff and surrounding areas as listed above and will be required to visit potential new foster carers, attend face-to-face team meetings at least monthly and on other occasions for training and team wellbeing events.
An Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.
