Overview

We are looking to welcome Forklift Warehouse Assistant to join our Fulfilment team in Exeter. You are a key part of making sure the store is ready before our guests begin to shop. Due to Health & Safety regulations, applicants must be 18 years and older.

What we offer
  • £13.50 per hour inclusive of forklift allowance
  • Nightshift allowance of £2.25 during the hours of 10pm to 6am
  • 39 hours weekly, working 5 days out of 7 and alternative weekends
  • Working hours between 10pm – 10am
  • Living Wage Foundation Employer

Interviews will be held between 26 June – 2 July. Expected starting date: 13 July.

What you’ll be doing day to day
  • As part of the Fulfilment team, contribute to the early morning fill to ensure a smooth customer shopping experience
  • Merchandise the shop floor and prepare for store opening
  • Work with internal systems to ensure accurate and full stock availability at all times
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, co-workers, and customers
  • Utilise good IT skills and maintain a customer service mindset
  • Display a passion for home furnishing and a willingness to grow within IKEA and help develop others
  • Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries
