A leading logistics provider in Swadlincote is seeking a full-time Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver. You will be responsible for unloading and loading pallets, working Monday to Friday from 7pm to 4am. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of counterbalance experience and must pass a drug and alcohol test. This position offers a competitive pay rate of £15.75 per hour and includes a temp to perm opportunity.

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen to work as a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver for our client, a leading provider who deals with collecting and delivering palletised freight.

Staffline is recruiting Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers in Swadlincote.

Applicants must have at least 6 months counterbalance experience with proof of licence - accredited or in house will be accepted.

The rate of pay is £15.75 per hour.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:

• 7pm to 4am

Please note 2-4 weeks of training will be on the day shift 9am to 6pm/ 11am to 8pm, before moving to nights.

Your Time at Work

As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver your duties include:

• Unloading pallets from lorries and placing in the allocated zones.
• Loading pallets from zones to lorries ready for despatching.
• Use of scanners.
