Job description

A great opportunity has arisen to work as a Forklift Truck Driver for our client, a leading provider of integrated supply chain solutions for temperature-controlled food and drink products.

Staffline is recruiting Forklift Truck, Reach, PPT and VNA Drivers in Blyth.

The rate of pay is £12.69 per hour.

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, and the hours of work are:

• 6am to 2pm
• 2pm to 10pm

Applicants must have their own transport due to site location.

Your Time at Work

As a Forklift Truck, Reach, PPT and VNA Driver your duties include:

• Operating a Forklift to transport materials and goods throughout the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
• Stacking and organising pallets and other items within the warehouse.
• Conducting pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must have a very good level of English, as there is a Maths and English test on registration.

An in-date licence is preferred but we will accept out-of-date or experience. If a licence is out of date, you will start off on a warehouse operative pay rate of £12.21 per hour until signed off on trucks.

A Drug and Alcohol and DBS Check will be conducted as part of the mandatory onboarding process.
