Job description

All applicants must be able to demonstrate right to work in the UK. (We do not sponsor any work Visas) This is a temporary position for approximately 6-month time. Starting in May

You must have previous forklift driver experience and a valid counterbalance forklift licence.

Forklift Driver Position

A Counterbalance licence and prior forklift driving experience are preferred for forklift drivers, although a vehicle driving license is not necessary since driving on public roads is not part of the job. Full training will be offered to those who are keen to learn.

Duties

• Picking orders.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Ensuring quantities match the paperwork.
• Performing general yard duties and maintaining site cleanliness when not engaged in primary tasks.

Work Schedule and Pay

• The work schedule covers a 24-hour period, 7 days a week.
• Pay is weekly, based on an hourly rate.
• At least one day off per week is guaranteed, with an 11-hour break between shifts.

Remote Assignment

You may be required to spend 5 to 6 weeks away from the main farm, working in Suffolk on rented land, approximately 2.5 hours away from Jepco. Accommodation will be provided near the farm.

Language and Nationality Preference

• Knowing basic English language is preferred also other Languages spoken on site: Russian, Bulgarian, Polish, Romanian

Pay

Your starting hourly rate will be £12.21. However, upon successfully completing your probation period and demonstrating proficient job performance, including tasks like order picking, ensuring paperwork accuracy, order weighing, and other duties, you may become eligible for a higher hourly rate.
