Overview

The Cake Crew are recruiting for a Fork Lift Truck Driver/Warehouse Operative at our site in Bala, North Wales.

Hours of work are either Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm or Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm and we are open to being flexible as to which shift you would prefer.

Responsibilities

• To carry out the tasks required to operate the warehouse and stores function.
• To carry out the tasks required for the external and internal hygiene of the warehouse.
• To work in accordance with, and abide by, all company rules and regulations at all times.
• To comply with and assist with implementation of company food safety, quality, and legality policies as they relate to the role.
• Undertake other duties as required and requested by Senior Warehouse Supervisor, including unloading vehicles when necessary.
• Checking the chiller and freezer are locked and the food skip is covered over.

Specific job roles

• Goods in / Warehouse areas:
• Supply picks to production.
• Replenish stocks and de-box margarine and butter.
• Book in and label any deliveries for that area.
• Take in egg deliveries and record temperatures.
• Invert pallets to plastic.
• Ensure warehouse and yard area are clean and tidy at all times, following the cleaning schedule.
• Re-stock gas.
• Unload / load empty pallets.

• Fork Lift Licence would be preferable, but we can provide if required.
