Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our team as a Forest School Practitioner in Bath. As a Forest School Practitioner, you will lead outdoor sessions, guiding children through a variety of nature-based activities that inspire learning, exploration, and personal growth. You will work with children of varying ages, creating a positive, safe, and stimulating environment in which they can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Forest School sessions that promote hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
  • Plan and facilitate outdoor activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing of all children during outdoor activities.
  • Foster a positive relationship with children, encouraging independence and self-esteem.
  • Maintain communication with parents and carers to track progress and share experiences.
  • Collaborate with other staff to ensure a seamless and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in outdoor or nature-based environments.
  • Passion for outdoor education and the ability to inspire children through nature-based learning.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • DBS check (Team Educate can assist with this if needed).
  • Forest School Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
