Based in Surrey with excellent links from London also.

Trading & Sales
  • Buy and sell food products to meet volume and margin targets.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers and customers.
  • Monitor and manage market risk, currency fluctuations, and supply chain variables.
Market Analysis
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and global supply-demand dynamics.
  • Analyse data to identify trading opportunities and optimise portfolio performance.
  • Prepare regular market and performance reports for management.
Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, producers, distributors, and customers.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and supplier visits to build market intelligence.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and timely communication across all trading activities.
Operational Coordination
  • Work closely with logistics, quality control, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of trades.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in food trading, commodities, or B2B food sales (3-5+ years preferred).
