Overview

Required for immediate start (September 2025). Main/Upper Outer-London Scale. Food Technology Teacher. Tradewind are recruiting for a role starting from September 2025 until July 2026 at a school in Harrow.

Tradewind are looking for a creative, engaging, structured teacher of Food Technology. The school offers excellent professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver consistently good to outstanding lessons across the Food Technology curriculum, in line with OFSTED criteria.
• Plan high-quality lessons and ensure students make at least good progress.
• Teach all students across key stages as required by the timetable.
• Contribute to the development of teaching and learning, and support students of all abilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or qualified teacher status equivalent (QTLS).
• Experience of teaching Food Technology and a track record of raising student achievement.
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure (and relevant safeguarding checks), overseas police clearances if applicable, and professional references.
• CV with 10 years of employment/education history included; explanation of any employment gaps.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Ideally, excellent references.
