About the Role

You will join the Group Food Safety & Quality (FSQ) Product Design team at Ferrero to support the Kinder category, contributing to product innovation and renovation projects by ensuring Food Safety and Quality standards are considered from the very beginning. In this role, you will collaborate with teams across R&D, Marketing, Packaging Development Units, and Engineering to help make sure that new products meet regulatory requirements and Ferrero’s internal standards. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and international environment, where you can grow your skills and develop a strong foundation in Food Safety and Quality.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of Food Safety and Quality requirements throughout the product innovation process, working closely with other FSQ functions when needed.
  • Help define Product Quality Specifications for the Kinder category, contributing to the design of quality systems that ensure all standards are respected.
  • Contribute to preparing materials and data for governance meetings and support the monitoring and communication of key KPIs through the Product FSQ Innovation Dashboard.
  • Support the management of non-conformities, incidents, or exceptions during project development.
  • Observe how innovation comes to life across functions and contribute to preventing and addressing issues related to ingredients, allergens, microbiological risks, and technical or technological challenges.
  • Some international travel may be required.
Who we are looking for
  • Curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn.
  • Master’s degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or another scientific field.
  • Strong interest in Food Safety and Quality topics; analytical approach to support product innovation.
  • Ability to listen actively, collect information from different teams, and work collaboratively.
  • Comfort using Excel and PowerPoint; openness to developing skills in PowerBI or SAP.
  • Fluent English is a must; Italian is strongly preferred. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility, proactive mindset, and passion for quality.
