JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create SOPs for Food Safety Management in accordance with ISO 22000
  • Closely liaise with support departments and implement the SOPs by mentoring, training, and evaluating colleagues
  • Lead internal and coordinate external audits to ensure high scores
  • Establish audit requirements to ensure ISO 22000 compliance
  • Lead risk assessments, gap analysis, and risk management
  • Own the Hygiene Operating Manual and relevant documentation
  • Manage Food Safety Management System [FSMS] programs
  • Build a positive Food Safety, health, and Hygiene culture across business units
  • Identify and analyze hazards and risks using ISO 22000 and HACCP methodologies
  • Act as liaison and advisor with relevant departments and external parties
  • Support HACCP accreditation efforts
  • Manage stakeholder and risk management processes
  • Develop corrective actions and ensure compliance
  • Develop training materials and record training activities per L&D standards
  • Prepare documentation for quality audits (ISO, HACCP)
  • Report structural deficiencies related to food safety and Hygiene
  • Manage pest control systems
  • Handle food complaints effectively
  • Lead preventive maintenance schedules with facilities management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 10 years’ management experience in international hotel chains or airline food catering at managerial level
  • Master’s degree in microbiology or related field
  • Certifications or accreditation for UK
  • Experience with ISO 22000 and HACCP standards
  • Pre-opening or new project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science or Food Technology
  • Understanding of HACCP implementation and execution
  • Strong training, coaching, and online learning skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; analytical mindset
  • Ability to set directions, organize work, and communicate effectively
