A hospitality brand in Exeter is seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to support event management and deliver exceptional service in a 3 AA Rosette restaurant. Candidates should have a strong passion for food and beverage, be knowledgeable, and provide friendly, efficient service. Flexible shifts available, including evenings and weekends, with opportunities for career development and internal progression. 60 Bedrooms; 55‑seat Bistro & Bar; 3 Private Event Spaces seating up to 65; Spa with outdoor heated pool, indoor hydro‑jet area, 4 beauty rooms, small relaxation area, manicure and pedicure stations.
Exeter is one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England, pre‑dating the arrival of the Romans in AD 50. It offers a host of fascinating visitor attractions including unique underground passages, imposing Roman walls and beautiful quayside. The hotel sits within an iconic building, formerly an Eye Infirmary, with historic walled gardens and striking architecture.
Food and Beverage Assistant, up to £13.30 per hour (including tronc), 37.5 hours per week.

In this role you will assist in the smooth running of all our events, be part of the Food & Beverage team and grab your chance to work with the best food, drink and a brand you can be proud of. You'll help control the flow and communicate with the Kitchen and the restaurant management team to ensure smooth and controlled experiences for our guests. This role also involves working within our 3 AA Rosette restaurant where you will be expected to maintain current standards.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and beverage and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests. Knowledge of food, wine and beverage is an advantage. You must have passion for hospitality and deliver service with a smile.
We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days – this means great flexibility if required. We are busier during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
