Overview

FM Assistant - Cleaning

Band 2 - £12.51 per hour (£24,465 per annum pro rata)

Location: Thurrock Hospital

Hours: 12 hours per week - 9:30am - 12:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas.
  • Clean floors by vacuuming; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping; perform high and low dusting; wipe over and polish surfaces, mirrors, chairs (provided they have not been soiled with body fluids), bed frames, bins, and sani-bins.
  • Clean toilets, sinks, baths and showers; clean cookers, regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and other items in the kitchens; defrost fridges on a regular basis.
  • Restock consumables such as toilet tissue, hand towels and soap.
  • Descale taps; manage bins and replace bin liners as required.
