A healthcare provider is seeking a part-time FM Assistant to ensure cleanliness in assigned areas at Rochford Hospital. Responsibilities include vacuuming, mopping, and restocking supplies under a flexible work schedule. Ideal candidates should understand hygiene practices and may need a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

FM Assistant Band 2 - £12.51 per hour (£24,465 per annum pro rata) Part time - 27 hours per week - Please see rota below Week 1 - Monday 3-7/ Tuesday 3-7/ Thursday 8-1 & 3-7/ Friday 3-7/ Saturday 8-1 Week 2 - Monday 3-7/ Tuesday 3-7/ Thursday 8-1 & 2-7/ Friday 3-7/ Saturday 8-2 Base - Rochford Hospital This post will include Unsocial Hours Payments as follows: Saturday - Time plus 41% of the salary
To ensure that the ward(s) / areas you are assigned to are cleaned in accordance with the Work Schedule for those ward(s) / areas.
This will include vacuuming floors; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; high and low dusting; wiping over and polishing (where applicable) both vertical and horizontal surfaces, mirrors, chairs*, bed frames*, bins, sani-bins; cleaning toilets, sinks, baths and showers; cleaning cookers, regeneration ovens, fridges, holding fridges, microwaves and others items in the kitchens; defrosting fridges on a regular basis; restocking consumables such as toilet tissue, handtowels, soap; descaling taps; and bins and replacing bin liners.
