A regional healthcare provider in Lancaster is seeking a Band 7 Flow Lead to ensure safe patient flow in mental health services. The candidate will work closely with inpatient wards and community teams, providing expert clinical advice and effective communication. The role requires motivation and experience in a multi-disciplinary team. This full-time position encourages flexible working options.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Flow Lead in The Bay. The job supports safe flow for patients requiring inpatient admission to a mental health ward. The Flow Lead will work closely with the inpatient wards and the community teams to support patients to be admitted and safely discharged following a period of assessment and treatment. The Flow Lead will have a relationship with the bed hub and support patients to be admitted as close to home as possible. They will also work with mental health services as well as third sector providers, so great communication skills are essential. The post is a full-time, permanent post covering the service over 5 days per week. The flow lead will support patients from The Bay in wards across the footprint and in OAP beds. The post holder will be dynamic and motivated to support safe flow. As a member of the team you would be working with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Mental Health Nurses; Support Workers; Social Workers, Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist.
