Job summary

A leading delivery company in the UK is looking for a Fleet Compliance & Policy Manager to ensure fleet operations are compliant with UK legislation. This role involves creating policies, maintaining compliance processes, and liaising with external organizations. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of UK transport legislation, transport management experience, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary starting from £47,322 with bonuses, and the opportunity to work hybrid three days per week.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and Operator's Licence requirements.
  • Experience in transport management and compliance.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Skills in data analysis and reporting (Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Keep Royal Mail compliant with UK transport and driver legislation.
  • Maintain and improve fleet policy documents and processes.
  • Share updates on legal changes with managers and teams.
  • Work with internal teams to make compliance simple and consistent.
  • Report on compliance performance and suggest improvements.
  • Act as the main contact for external bodies such as DVSA and Logistics UK.
