  • Ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and standards.
  • Managing interfaces with the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS).
  • Identifying hazards during maintenance activities and maintaining safety-related item documentation.
  • Checking the maintenance documentation such as Vehicle Maintenance Instruction (VMI) to ensure it is comprehensive, consistent, updated, and well-organised.

  • Knowledge of railway safety regulations, standards, and risk assessment processes.
  • Familiarity with reliability management tools and methodologies such as Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Knowledge of cost optimisation techniques, including Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis.
  • Resilience and adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Things you’ll enjoy
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
  • You will be part the London Aventra FME (Fleet Maintenance Engineering).
  • Work with cutting-edge maintenance documentation and tools to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and safety requirements.

  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning.
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension)

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
