Salary: Up to £27,000 p.a.
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Full time, Monday to Friday

Role Summary

Optima Health are looking for a Fleet & Equipment Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting our operational teams. From managing equipment and consumables to overseeing fleet compliance and stock control, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our services run smoothly every single day. Role focus may vary depending on assignment and will comprise of one or more of the following:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

No two days will look the same, but you'll be responsible for things like:

  • Coordinating equipment, PPE, consumables and medication so clinics and sites are always fully prepared
  • Managing orders, suppliers and purchase authorisations with a keen eye on cost and quality
  • Maintaining accurate equipment, asset, calibration and stock records
  • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned, calibrated, PAT tested and fit for purpose
  • Supporting new site and clinic setups, including equipment installation and user training
  • Overseeing fleet and mobile units – MOTs, servicing, DVLA checks and inspections
  • Monitoring stock levels, cold chain compliance and responding to any incidents swiftly
  • Working closely with Operations, Finance, Clinical and Legal teams to keep everything compliant and efficient

Experience, skills and knowledge required for the role
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Is confident using IT systems and managing data accurately
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Can balance competing priorities and make decisions when it counts
  • Has a commercial mindset and understands the importance of cost control
  • Takes ownership, learns from experience and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves
  • Must be a driver with a current, valid UK driver's licence

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential, along with a proactive, can-do attitude.
