At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.
GKN Aerospace are searching qualified fitters to express an interest in working with GKN to operate as multi‑skilled, flexible workers to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency within our areas. We are anticipating further uptake in the coming months and will be in touch to any successful applicants. Successful applicants will have a wide knowledge of hand and machine tools used in the aircraft industry including:
Starting salary of £35,304 rising to £36,750 once fully certified (after around 3 months) + shift allowance where applicable (up to 33%) + Up to 4% Bonus
