M&E Fit-Out Manager - Mechanical & Electrical - Pontefract

Job Type

Permanent | Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Are you an experienced looking to lead high-impact mechanical and electrical installations across complex industrial and infrastructure projects?

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full M&E fit-out works across multiple industrial and infrastructure sites
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and in-house teams to meet tight project timelines
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, client specifications, and industry best practice
• Monitor site progress, oversee quality assurance, and control project costs
• Collaborate with engineers, site managers, and project leaders to deliver work on time and within scope
• Identify and resolve technical challenges related to mechanical and electrical systems
• Report on progress and ensure alignment with project milestones and stakeholder expectations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical fit-out projects within construction, engineering, or utilities sectors
• Solid knowledge of M&E systems, building services installations, and commissioning processes
• Strong site management, communication, and team coordination skills
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance
• Qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
• SMSTS / SSSTS and First Aid qualifications (beneficial)

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Friday: Early finish
• 40 hours per week
• Business closed on Bank Holidays and during Christmas / New Year

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £55000 - £65000 per annum (DOE)
