Overview

A growing business in the Northwest area is looking to expand its R&D department. An additional Firmware Engineer is urgently required to work on a new phase of their product range.

Responsibilities

The Firmware Engineer reports directly to the Technical Director and works closely with the whole R&D team to develop software for embedded microcontrollers. You will be involved in full‑lifecycle projects from specification, design, test, validation, and delivery to manufacture, running multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics or equivalent
• Proficiency in C programming
• Experience with microcontrollers – STM32
• Knowledge of protocols – CANBus, SPI, I2C, UART (desirable)
• Linux
