Qualifications

• Experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with extinguisher experience preferred.
• BAFE certification is a plus but training will be given.
• Valid UK Driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.

• Perform maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot fire suppression and alarm systems.
• Test emergency lighting and replace faulty devices.

Overview

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position for Fire Protection Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a field service engineer and be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and inspection of fire extinguishers and alarm systems in the Devon & Cornwall areas.
• Repair and fault find fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
• Testing emergency lighting.
• Replace failed and faulty devices.
• Replacing extinguishers and Fire Safe ancillary products, emergency signage etc.
• Upselling and cross selling of Fire Safe ancillary products.
• Scheduling your own works daily/weekly.

Candidate

• You will be an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer ideally with some extinguisher experience.
• Preferably you will have BAFE certification however full training will be given.
• Must hold a valid UK Driving licence, max 6 points.
