Job Title: Fire Door Surveyor / Fire Stopper

Location: South Gloucestershire

Role

We are looking for an experienced carpenter with a valid CSCS card to carry out fire door surveys, fire stopping works, and remedial repairs. The role involves ensuring compliance with fire safety standards through inspections, sealing works, and adjustments to fire doors and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and survey fire doors, recording defects and compliance issues.
• Carry out fire stopping installations (sealants, collars, batts, etc.).
• Complete remedial works to fire doors, including repairs and adjustments.
• Work to current fire safety regulations and project standards.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with site teams.

Requirements

• Skilled carpenter/joiner with relevant site experience.
• Knowledge of fire doors and passive fire protection.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE (driving licence desirable).
