Job summary

A recruitment agency in East Leake is looking for a Fire Door Inspector to conduct inspections and oversee compliance with Fire Safety Regulations. Responsibilities include recording inspections, performing minor repairs, and maintaining records. Responsibilities

  • To carry out fire door inspections of properties, in line with Fire Safety Regulations.
  • Ensure all inspections and associated information are recorded via the appropriate monitoring systems.
  • Carry out minor repairs to fire doors as appropriate or report further required repairs.
  • Work with the Compliance Co-ordinator to diarise and arrange required inspections.
  • Liaise with residents as appropriate.
  • Work with other officers to resolve issues regarding fire doors.
  • Deliver an effective and appropriate service to all service users.
  • Maintain office and site records in line with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor the programme of inspections and prepare monthly reports.

  • Monitor the programme of inspections and prepare monthly reports to management to evidence.
