Job summary

A leading recruitment company in the UK seeks a Fire Door Inspector for a project involving 250 door sets over approximately 10 working days. The role requires a minimum 5 years of inspection experience and possession of a CSCS (blue card). This opportunity includes working across multiple sites in the Birmingham area and offers a day rate for 8–10 hours of work. Candidates must have their own vehicle.

Qualifications

• 10 years of joinery experience preferred.
• 5 years of inspection experience preferred.
• Own vehicle required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sign off 250 door sets in approximately 10 working days.
• Ensure compliance with FIRAS or equivalent standards.
• Work across various sites in the Birmingham area as required.

Fire Door Inspector – Commercial

There are 250 door sets to be completed across approximately 10 working days (more projects in the pipeline for the right candidate until March 2026).

• Doors need to be officially signed off – FIRAS or equivalent required.
• CSCS (blue card) – minimum requirement.
• Day rate – working 8‑10 hours a day.
• 10 years joiner / 5 years inspector experience preferred.
• Own vehicle needed – working between sites (all of which are in the Birmingham area).
