Fire Alarm Technician
£38,000 - £42,000 per year + overtime + bonus
Full time, permanent | 40 hours per week | Field based / remote
Location ideally - South Wales - Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Llanelli, Pembroke

What you will be doing
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs to Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting and other life safety systems
- Fault finding and attending emergency call-outs when required
- Producing clear defects and condition reports so that remedial and repair works can be accurately planned and priced
- Communicating clearly with both customers and the office team so everyone understands the status of systems and any outstanding actions
- Giving practical, informal advice to customers so they understand how to improve their fire safety and get the best from their systems
- Accurately recording all activities on the company software, including uploading photos and updating asset registers

What you will bring
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 4 years' experience servicing and fault finding on Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with customers and colleagues
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong time management skills, able to manage your own workload, meet deadlines and cope under pressure
- Willingness to learn, with a professional, honest and responsible approach
- Good working knowledge of BS 5839 and BS 5266
