Job description

We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Fire Alarm and Lighting Tester to join a busy Fire and Security team. This is a hands‑on role, predominantly out on the road, testing fire alarms, emergency lighting, and automatic opening vents across Dorset and Hampshire.

You’ll be supported with a company van, fuel card, iPhone, iPad, and all necessary training, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, mobile role and wants to develop their career in fire safety compliance.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Carrying out routine compliance testing of fire alarms, emergency lighting, and automatic opening vents
  • Logging all work accurately using iPad‑based software
  • Managing your own time on the road to complete tasks efficiently
  • Keeping up to date with industry‑relevant training
  • Representing the company positively in all customer interactions
