Join the Wing Architecture and Integration team, at the forefront of Airbus wing concept design. Our work spans from supporting current solutions to developing improvements through process digitalization, contributing to environmentally sustainable aircraft.
We are a forward-thinking team, with a transnational presence across the UK, France, and Germany. The Airbus Engineering Structures Wing organization collaborates across sites to design and manufacture wings for all Airbus commercial aircraft.
This position is primarily based in Filton, UK, where a community of over 400 engineers collaborates on wing design and manufacture for programs including A220, Single Aisle, Long Range, A350, A380, and A400m, as well as R&D for new configurations.
You will be integrated into two key teams: Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Wing Digitalization. You will deliver key analysis results, own deliverables from task definition to final delivery, and use pre/post-processing tools like Altair Hyperworks. You may develop coding skills through automation activities.
This role offers exposure to multiple projects across the project lifecycle and a network across Analysis, Program, Chief Engineering, and Airworthiness teams.
