We’re excited to be supporting a well‑established Consultancy firm in Leeds city centre in their search for a Financial Reporting Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who wants to broaden their experience within a respected financial services organisation in a technical reporting role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and support the year‑end statutory reporting process.

  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.

  • Produce high‑quality financial reports, analysis, and commentary for senior stakeholders.

  • Assist with the audit process, liaising with external auditors as required.

  • Ensure adherence to financial controls, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

  • Responsible for VAT Returns.

  • Contribute to process improvements across the finance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About You
  • Fully or part‑qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial accounting experience.

  • Experience within financial services or a regulated environment is highly desirable.

  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and strong analytical skills.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to tight deadlines.
