A growing care home management group in Greater London is seeking a Financial Planner & Analyst. This role is ideal for graduates or junior analysts early in their finance careers. You will build financial models, prepare forecasts, and support investment decisions. The position requires strong analytical and Excel skills, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment. Candidates should have a finance-related degree and a proactive mindset. Salary is between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum.
Our client, a growing care home management group, is seeking a Financial Planner & Analyst to support the business with financial modelling, forecasting, investment analysis and strategic planning. This role is well suited to a graduate, junior analyst or someone early in their finance career who has strong analytical ability and excellent Excel skills. Experience in healthcare or property is a bonus but not required.
Working closely with the directors, you will help prepare financial models, forecasts and reports used for investment decisions, acquisitions, lender discussions and business planning. This is a hybrid role, with a new office being established in North / North West London.
Build, update and maintain financial models for new and existing care home projects
Prepare cash flow forecasts, scenario analysis and investment appraisals
Support directors with preparing financial presentations for banks, lenders and investors
Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks
Assist with budgeting and longer-term business planning
Help evaluate potential acquisitions and produce supporting financial documentation
Liaise with bookkeepers and external accountants to ensure the accuracy of source data
Contribute to ad-hoc analytical work as required by senior leadership
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
Excellent Excel skills (including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and building structured models)
Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting or a related field
Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly
Proactive mindset, attention to detail and willingness to learn
Some experience in a finance, FP&A, analyst or modelling role
Familiarity with property, healthcare, or multi-site businesses
Basic understanding of financial statements
£30,000 – £40,000 per annum,
