Join the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Control Management organization, responsible for defining and overseeing the CIB control environment. This role emphasizes the implementation and sustainability of global CIB Financial Crimes projects and control program enhancements, ensuring the end-to-end control framework supports robust governance and systems to identify, quantify, manage, and monitor risk.

As a Financial Crimes Control Program Manager Vice President within the CIB, you will engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups, including CIB business units, other Lines of Business, and Compliance, to oversee and drive project planning and execution. Your role includes accountability for maintaining project governance documentation and tools and providing senior management updates.

Job responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and sustainability of global CIB Financial Crimes projects and control program enhancements, ensuring alignment with the overall control framework.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups, including CIB business units, other Lines of Business, and Compliance, to oversee and drive program planning and execution.
  • Maintain accountability for project governance documentation and tools, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively support program objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and achievements, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Assist in identifying, quantifying, managing, and monitoring risk within the control environment, ensuring robust governance and systems are in place.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience
  • Relevant experience of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to clearly communicate with team members, stakeholders across LOBs and Corporate functions, and convey complex ideas simply including to senior management.
  • Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to financial crimes, such as AML (Anti-Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC).
