About the role
Are you a qualified accountant ready to step up and take ownership of a growing, global finance function? As a rapidly scaling Series A startup, Beam is looking for a Financial Controller to be the backbone of our finance operations and a key partner in our next phase of growth as we expand worldwide with our flagship AI product, Magic Notes.
Reporting into the Finance Director, this is a career-defining opportunity for someone looking to move from a Finance Manager role, Management Accountant or a Controller position in a smaller company. You won't just be managing the numbers; you'll be building the engine for the finance rocketship at Beam. You will had the autonomy to manage the day-to-day finance operations, working closely with the in-house team to scale our processes, implement new systems, and level up how we operate.
Our finance team is run in-house, meaning you'll get hands-on exposure to every part of the business, from producing management accounts to business partnering to international compliance. This role is perfect for a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of tackling global finance challenges and growing into a future finance leader.
