Job summary

A recruitment company is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to manage various financial operations including revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting. Ideal candidates should possess a CA or CPA qualification and have over 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or QuickBooks is preferred. This position is offered to candidates residing in Grand Cayman.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience post-qualification, ideally with Big 4 experience.
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred.

Overview

The Financial Analyst will gain wide-ranging exposure across core financial operations, including revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, financial and management reporting, preparation of monthly working papers, cash flow forecasting, and ERP/system implementation projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop both technical expertise and strategic insight in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition for multiple streams: product sales, royalty, co-promotion, and distribution income


• Assist in preparing monthly working papers and supporting financial close activities


• Oversee monthly reconciliations, cash forecasting, and accounts receivables


• Contribute to monthly close and consolidation


• Assist in ERP/system implementation


• Help with internal and external audits through data preparation and documentation

Qualifications

• CA, CPA, or equivalent


• 2+ years\' experience post-qualification. Big 4 experience will be advantageous.


• Strong understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting


• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, QuickBooks) preferred
