The role

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll have an opportunity to work on complex assignments that make a real difference to national security and infrastructure, while accelerating your career growth in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, providing critical financial insights that shape major bids and projects across defence, aerospace, and engineering.

  • Analysing financial data, budgets, and tendering models to deliver actionable insights
  • Supporting investment evaluations through robust financial modelling
  • Leveraging advanced Excel, ERP systems, and AI-driven tools for accurate reporting
  • Collaborating with business units to identify process improvements and ensure compliance
  • Contributing to the development of functional reporting tools to support strategic objectives

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is fully remote. You will be required to travel to one of our UK sites twice per month for team meetings (expenses paid).

Essential experience of the Financial Analyst
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, automation)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for data extraction and reporting
  • Ability to apply AI and machine learning tools for trend analysis and forecasting
  • Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgment
  • Expertise in interpreting multiple data sources to drive decisions
Qualifications for the Financial Analyst
  • Degree-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
