Responsibilities

1. Preparation of financial accounts and closing in SAP (R/3, S/4)
2. Coordination with the local Managing Director and team as needed
3. Posting for AP, AR, FA, VAT/Intrastat at entity and group levels
4. Payroll reconciliation
5. Preparation of the group financial reporting package in IDL, including relevant notes as per the group accounting manual (similar to IFRS)
6. Preparation of local GAAP financial statements with relevant notes
7. Ongoing review of legal entities' accounts, ensuring correct and consistent application of the group accounting manual
8. Acting as contact for local and group auditors
9. Preparation of analysis and reviews for management
10. Managing intercompany recharges, correct posting of consolidation entries, and intercompany reconciliation
11. Supporting and acting as backup for the Sr. Manager Group Reporting & Consolidation in preparing the consolidated financials
12. Serving as SAP FI key user as Technical Accountant

Requirements

1. Professional training in accounting with additional certification
2. At least 5 years of recent experience in accounting, managing different standards simultaneously
3. Experience with SAP (nice to have IDL)
4. Proficiency with IT and MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
5. Languages: Full fluency in English; German fluency is a plus
6. Strong skills in process management, data analytics, communication, and change management; reliable, structured, and efficient
