A leading energy company in Northern Ireland seeks a Financial Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will manage month-end activities, prepare statutory accounts, and ensure compliance with regulations. You must be a fully qualified accountant with at least two years of experience in financial reporting and controls. The position offers a salary of £45,000 – £50,000 and includes flexible working options and a benefits package, including healthcare discounts and family entitlements.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance Team within the SSE Customer Energy Solutions business. This role is central to delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for the regulated Gas NI business, with a strong emphasis on month-end close, statutory accounting, financial controls, and audit support.
You will take responsibility for preparing statutory accounts and coordinating the statutory audit for the Airtricity Gas NI company. You will also work closely with the Internal Control Business Partner to maintain robust financial controls, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, and support continuous process improvement across the finance function. This is a full-time role with flexibility on working location.
