Qualifications

Overview

The post holder will work as a member of a team within the General Office covering the Royal Site and Broadgreen Hospital sites, providing a service to both Trust employees and members of the General Public.

The Broadgreen office provides a service to the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all income is receipted in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Trust’s Standing Financial Instructions.
  • Record patient property appropriately and authorise all petty cash disbursements.
  • Deal with a high volume of queries from staff within the Trust and external clients.
  • Support the decision‑making process and offer suggestions to the General Office Manager and Deputy Manager.
  • Train new staff in the demanding role.
Qualifications

Minimum of Maths GCSE or equivalent.

  • Desirable: ECDL
  • Studying towards AAT or highly motivated with a desire to learn
  • Demonstrable previous Finance Experience
  • Previous experience of cash handling and customer relations, numerate
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Good communicator
